 ARK could never have set off its projects so expeditiously without the support of a number of partners. Â
National Postcode Lottery ARK is one of the 66 good causes of the Postcode Lottery, the largest good-causes lottery in the Netherlands. The Postcode Lottery supports good causes in the sphere of nature and the environment, human rights, and development aid. Every year ARK receives half a million Euro. With this yearly contribution we can realise many projects that contribute to nature development in the Netherlands and abroad. Every year the good causes of the Postcode Lottery thank the participants with an advertisement in the newspapers. Â
WWF Netherlands Actually, this organisation hardly needs further explanation. The World Wide Fund for Nature was watching ARK's cradle and was involved in its very first activities. Since then we have been working with this organisation with projects like "Building with Bricks" and "New Rotterdam Water-level". ARK has been the host for WWF Netherlands in the Gelderse Poortgebied for over a decade. This area is an example for nature development in other parts of the world: it shows a large-scale restoration of natural processes, a solid economic foundation and a firm embedding in the local community. Recently we co-operate in the "Wild Europe Field Program". |
